Prairie View, Texas – The wait is officially over for Prairie View A&M Volleyball as the Lady Panthers take the court for the first time in 2025 with an exhibition matchup against Texas A&M–Kingsville on Saturday, August 23, inside the Baby Dome at 2:00 pm.  

The contest will give fans an early preview of this year's squad under new head coach Dottie Hampton as the Lady Panthers prepare for the upcoming regular season. With a mix of returning veterans and fresh faces, PVAMU will use the exhibition to fine-tune rotations, showcase new talent, and build momentum heading into a challenging non-conference slate.

"This is a great opportunity to see where we are as a team before the season officially starts," Hampton said. "Exhibitions allow us to experiment with lineups and get the younger players experience in front of our home crowd. We're excited to finally compete against someone across the net."

The Lady Panthers are coming off a strong offseason of training and are looking to carry that energy into game action. Fans are encouraged to fill the Baby Dome and support the team as they begin their 2025 journey.

Admission is free and all supporters are welcome to attend.
