PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Prairie View A&M Volleyball wrapped up its fourth day of preseason practice on Friday, with Head Coach Dottie Hampton praising the team's energy, focus, and early chemistry.

"These last few days have been really good and really exciting to see the ladies in action," Hampton said. "We did a lot of skill work and the ladies really adopted well to what we put together. They had a lot of energy every single day. We practice a lot in these four days, and it is great to see how they have come together in such a short time."

With eight returning players and seven newcomers, the Lady Panthers have been quick to blend their talents and personalities. Hampton said the group has already embraced the program's direction.

"They have really jelled and meshed together," she added. "The ladies have been invested in the vision and the core values that we have. They have adjusted and taken it all in. It's been a really fun week. I really enjoyed this week."

The Lady Panthers will continue their preparation for the 2025 season opener on Friday, August 29, at the Montana Tournament.
