Prairie View A&M (PVAMU) looks to bounce back after a hard-fought weekend series at Southern, where the Panthers went 1-2. PVAMU opened the series with a 9-1 loss before responding with a 6-3 victory in game two, then dropped a high-scoring finale 9-8 despite a strong offensive showing.
In Sunday's contest, the Panthers tallied 12 hits and plated eight runs, showcasing their offensive potential heading into Tuesday's matchup. Over the three-game stretch, PVAMU combined for 26 hits, highlighted by improved production at the plate in the final two games.
