NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The Prairie View A&M baseball team returns to the diamond on Tuesday, March 31, traveling to face Stephen F. Austin with first pitch set for 6:00 p.m.

Prairie View A&M (PVAMU) looks to bounce back after a hard-fought weekend series at Southern, where the Panthers went 1-2. PVAMU opened the series with a 9-1 loss before responding with a 6-3 victory in game two, then dropped a high-scoring finale 9-8 despite a strong offensive showing.

In Sunday's contest, the Panthers tallied 12 hits and plated eight runs, showcasing their offensive potential heading into Tuesday's matchup. Over the three-game stretch, PVAMU combined for 26 hits, highlighted by improved production at the plate in the final two games.

Leading the charge offensively this season is Ryland Duson, who enters the week batting .364 with four home runs and 24 RBI. Tyvon Moore continues to be a spark at the top of the lineup, hitting .352 with a team-best 1.017 OPS, while Basilio Williams adds depth with a .293 average and team-high eight stolen bases.
