Panthers Head to College Station for Midweek Matchup at No. 9 Texas A&M

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — The Prairie View A&M Panthers hit the road Tuesday for a midweek showdown against No. 9 Texas A&M at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. First pitch is set for 6:00 pm as the Panthers' toughest non-conference test of the season.

The matchup will stream on SEC Network+, with radio coverage available on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Live stats and in-game updates will also be available.

Texas A&M (35-10) enters the contest riding strong momentum and holds a 16-0 advantage in the all-time series over Prairie View A&M (10-35). The Aggies claimed a 14-0 run-rule victory in last season's meeting.

Scouting the Aggies

Texas A&M boasts one of the most explosive offenses in the country, ranking among the nation's top 20 in slugging percentage (.568), on-base percentage (.425), scoring (9.0 runs per game), and total home runs (95).

Leading the charge is Gavin Grahovac, who paces the Aggies with a .361 batting average, 65 hits, and 61 runs scored. Caden Sorrell adds major power to the lineup with 21 home runs this season, placing him among the program's top single-season performers.

On the mound, the Aggies have been just as impressive, ranking second nationally in walks allowed per nine innings (2.79) and seventh in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.22), showcasing elite command and efficiency.

Prairie View A&M will look to lean on its experienced lineup, led byfreshman Ryland Duson, who has been a consistent offensive force all season. Duson leads the team with a .365 batting average, 62 hits, and seven home runs while driving in 39 runs.

Tyvon Moore provides speed and versatility at the top of the order, scoring a team-high 35 runs and swiping 10 bases, while Basilio Williams adds balance with a .281 average and 23 RBIs.

Michasel Burroughs has been a key run producer with 29 RBIs and extra-base power, while Hunter Hams rounds out the lineup with timely hitting.
