HOUSTON - Comcast SportsNet Houston, a partnership between the Houston Rockets, Houston Astros and the NBC Sports Group, will broadcast Saturday's homecoming showdown featuring Prairie View A&M and Alcorn State live at Blackshear Field beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's game marks the first-ever live SWAC Football contest on the network, which debuted Oct. 1.
In addition to game coverage, Comcast SportsNet provides football fans with the region's deepest local analysis, opinion and debate about area and national programs, led by the new show “Saturday Tailgate Live. “ Produced by Comcast SportsNet each week and hosted by Bill Doleman, “Saturday Tailgate Live” complements the day's live college football programming with highlights and analysis of the world of college football, with a focus on regional teams. “Saturday Tailgate Live” will begin a half-hour prior to the network's first scheduled game of the day, and will continue with halftime and between-game programming as well as a half-hour wrap-up show after the last game of the day.
Announcing teams for games produced by Comcast SportsNet are: Tom Dore with analyst Shea Walker, Dave Raymond with analyst ND Kalu, and sideline reporters Leila Rahimi (LAY-luh RAH-hee-mee) and Lemont Williams.
