PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --Senior Paul Castro went 1-for-2 with a home run and an RBI for the Prairie View A&M Panthers in a 13-1 loss to the Southern Jaguars on Friday.
Freshman Corey Battey (1-4) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (21-23).
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were trailing 13-0 in the seventh inning when they first put runs on the board. Castro put Prairie View A&M on the board with a two-out solo home run off junior R. Grace. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as neither team scored again in the ballgame.
