Prairie View A&M Panthers' freshman athlete, Devin Miller, has been named the SWAC Newcomer and Co-Field Athlete of the Week for his recent outstanding performances. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Miller specializes in high jump and sprints, showcasing his skills once again at the SMU Invite last week.

During the meet, Miller achieved impressive marks, jumping 1.96 meters in the high jump, finishing 3rd at the SMU invite, and recording times of 10.98 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.98 seconds in the 200 meters. This accolade marks his second time being recognized as the Newcomer of the Week, with his initial recognition coming during the indoor season.

As the outdoor season progresses, Miller's contributions continue to bolster the Prairie View A&M Panthers' track and field squad, with expectations for further achievements in upcoming meets.
