Prairie View A&M's men's indoor track and field season produced one breakthrough after another, from new school records to a points finish at the SWAC Indoor Championships. By the end of the campaign, the Panthers had placed 16 new performances into the school record book, a sign of both top-end speed and growing depth across sprints, middle distance, distance and field events.

The headline achievements started with three new school records. Freshman De'Trevyon Goudeau ran the 400 meters in 46.2, Sebastian Cruz set the 600 meters record in 1:16.99, and the 4x400-meter relay team of Bryce McFadden, A'isayah Brown, Goudeau and Cruz clocked 3:10.78. Goudeau also turned in a 34.8 in the 300 meters and earned SWAC Newcomer of the Week honors twice, along with one SWAC Track Athlete of the Week award, underscoring how often he drove Prairie View A&M's strongest performances this winter.

The Panthers added more top-10 all-time marks throughout the indoor season. Joshua Gayden ran 6.88 in the 60 meters, while A'isayah Brown posted 34.87 in the 300 meters and Bryce McFadden finished the 400 meters in 46.44. In the middle-distance events, Sebastian Cruz added a 1:52.11 in the 800 meters and Jaiden Johnson ran 2:47.60 in the 1000 meters. The distance group also made a strong push into the record book, with Thierry Garcon recording 8:43.94 in the 3000 meters and 15:16.04 in the 5000 meters.

Prairie View A&M's field event and relay work rounded out the season's major gains. Ronzell Woods clocked 8.36 in the 60-meter hurdles, Darryl Myuckelroy cleared 4.60 meters in the pole vault, and Shawn St. Romain reached 7.12 meters in the long jump. Another 4x400-meter relay group also earned a place among the program's best, as Devin Miller, Gayden and Walter Williams IV, Cristian Hodges combined for a 3:12.75 performance that further showed the Panthers' sprint depth.

That progress carried into the SWAC Indoor Championships, where Prairie View A&M finished eighth in the men's team standings with 41 points. Darryl Muckelroy delivered one of the team's top postseason results by taking second in the pole vault at 4.42 meters, and Devin Miller added another runner-up finish in the high jump by clearing 2.07 meters. On the track, Bryce McFadden placed third in the 400 meters in 47.73, while Thierry Garcon took third in the 5000 meters in 15:16.04.

The Panthers also scored with several other top-eight finishes at the conference meet. The distance medley relay of Johnson, David Barrett, Jordan Smith and Garcon placed sixth in 10:51.65, Sebastian Cruz finished fourth in the 800 meters in 1:52.11, and Thierry Garcon added a sixth-place result in the 3000 meters with a 9:00.95. Those performances reflected the same pattern that defined the season, Prairie View A&M finding points in multiple event groups rather than relying on only one area.

The strongest takeaway from Prairie View A&M's indoor season is how much of the program's record book. Three school records, 16 new all-time marks and a collection of scoring finishes at the SWAC championships gave the Panthers a foundation to build on.
