STATESBORO, GA --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team fell in two matches on Friday against as the Radford and Georgia Southern. The game against Radford posted a 3-1 score (26-28, 25-19, 22-25, 18-25) where the match against Georgia Southern resulted in a 0-3 score (10-25, 20-25, 20-25).
The non-conference losses dropped Prairie View A&M to 0-5 on the season.
GAME 1 - Radord
The Lady Panthers offense was paced by Terasita Caldwell, who finished with 13 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .5. Iyonna Sherwood added 10 and Valencia Wilder chipped in with 10 as part of balanced Prairie View A&M attack. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Camille Middleton had 13 and Shea McElroy had 12. From the front row, Daniella Udegbunam contributed five blocks.

SET 1 | The Lady Panthers fell in a tight first set, losing 28-26 in a game that was tied three times and had no lead changes.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M responded to pick up a 25-19 victory in the second set, evening the match at one set apiece. The Lady Panthers grabbed the set with the help of a solid performance on the attacking side. Prairie View A&M registered a .323 attack percentage with 14 kills in the set win. The Lady Panthers ended on a strong note, stretching their lead to its largest point in the set to finish out the stanza. The Prairie View A&M offense also got a boost from four aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | Prairie View A&M lost the third set, putting the Lady Panthers in a 2-1 hole. The Lady Panthers fell in a back-and-forth battle, losing 25-22 in a set that featured three lead changes and was tied nine times. Neither team had a lead of more than four points along the way.
SET 4 | Prairie View A&M then dropped the fourth set 25-18 to finish off the match. The Lady Panthers trailed by as many as seven points as Radford grabbed the advantage for good at 9-8 and Prairie View A&M wasn't able to recover in a set that was tied up two times before the Highlanders took over.
GAME 2 - Georgia Southern
D'Mya Hill finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Lady Panthers offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .25. got 7 digs from Camille Middleton to lead them defensively.
