Men's Track Splits Weekend Between Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational

4/1/2026 3:03:00 PM

Prairie View A&M heads into a competitive weekend of their outdoor season, with the Panthers set to compete at both the Texas Relays in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos from April 2-4. The split-meet schedule gives Prairie View A&M a chance to test itself on two fronts, including one of the nation's most prominent early-season meets at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas.

The Panthers will bring a select group into the Texas Relays, where acceptance into the field adds significance to the weekend. Julian Dawkins and Eric Brooks are slated to compete in the 100 meters, while Anthony Mangram and Ronzell Woods are entered in both the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. Devin Miller is set for the high jump, and Prairie View A&M also has its 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams accepted into the meet. Those entries give the Panthers opportunities in sprint, hurdle, jump and relay events against a traditionally deep field.

At the same time, the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State University Track and Field Stadium offers Prairie View A&M another chance to build momentum across the roster. With competition spread across two sites, the weekend should give the Panthers a broader evaluation of where the team stands entering the heart of the outdoor campaign.

For followers tracking both meets, live results and a live stream will be available for the Texas Relays, while the Bobcat Invitational will also offer live results.
