Men's Track Closes Regular Season at TCU Horned Frog Invite

Men's track and field wrapped up their last regular season meet on Saturday with a strong set of individual results at the TCU Horned Frog Invite at Lowdon Track and Field Complex in Fort Worth, Texas.

Sebastian Cruz delivered one of the Panthers' top performances of the day, winning the 800 meters in 1:50.94. William Osby added another first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking 53.94, while Prairie View A&M controlled the top of that event with Anthony Mangram finishing second in 54.38 and Jayden Pleasant taking third in 55.59. The Panthers also closed the meet with a victory in the 4x400 relay, where Bryce McFadden, Cruz, Detrevyon Goudeau and Jabari Stocker combined for a winning time of 3:09.73.

The sprint and middle-distance groups continued to produce points throughout the meet. Goudeau placed third in the 400 in 46.61, with McFadden right behind him in fourth at 47.31. Thierry Garcon added a fourth-place finish in the 1,500 meters, crossing in 4:01.96. 

In the field events, Devin Miller cleared 2.00 meters to place second in the high jump, and Markerian Wesley-Stamps finished third after clearing 1.90 meters. Logan Fields added a third-place result in the discus with a throw of 41.59 meters. Darryl Muckelroy also reached the podium in the pole vault, taking third at 4.47 meters.

Taken together, the results gave the Panthers productive depth across multiple event groups, from hurdles and jumps to throws and relays. With the regular season now complete, Prairie View A&M heads into championship competition with momentum.
