TUCSON, AZ --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team lost to the UCSB Gauchos 3-0 (21-25, 18-25, 19-25) Saturday at McKale Center at ALKEME Arena.
The non-conference loss dropped Prairie View A&M to 0-2 on the season.
Camille Middleton finished with six kills on the day to lead the Lady Panthers offense. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Middleton had 11 and Shea McElroy had 10.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Lady Panthers found themselves in an early deficit, dropping the first set 25-21. Prairie View A&M trailed by as many as seven points as UCSB grabbed the advantage for good at 4-3 in a set that was tied up two times before the Gauchos took control.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M then dropped set two 25-18 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Lady Panthers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | UCSB finished the sweep with a third-set victory. The Lady Panthers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before losing the set 25-19.
