PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers had a tough showing on Friday, falling to the Texas Southern Tigers 10-1 despite the efforts of sophomore Reagan Green, who went 2-for-3.
Senior Madalyne Martinez (1-4) started and took the loss in the circle for Prairie View A&M (8-12, 2-1).
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were trailing 7-0 in the fifth inning when they first put runs on the board. Freshman Chenai Chawayipira came across to score the lone run of the inning for Prairie View A&M and get them on the board. The Panthers were unable to get any closer, as Texas Southern added three runs to their tally on the way to a 10-1 final.
