PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers took a 4-3 lead in the second inning and never surrendered the advantage on the way to a 10-8 victory against the Grambling Tigers on Sunday.
Freshman Gabrielle Larson (1-1) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Prairie View A&M (27-19, 21-3). The right-hander went two innings, giving up four runs, all of them earned, on one hit, allowing five walks and striking out one. Freshman Caden Young also made an impact in the circle for the Panthers, throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits.
