Prairie View A&M University Athletics

John T. Cochran was a three-time Coach of the Year and led PVAMU Tennis in having the most Tennis Championships in SWAC History. In 12 seasons, he led the program to three SWAC Championships in 2005, 2010, and 2013. He also guided the team to 3 trips to the NCAA Tennis Tournament. In 2008, he won the Academic Enhancement Coordinator for the Athletic Department. His teams were always ranked in the nation with a high graduation rate.

He was married to the love of his life, Adrienne. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Zeta Beta Chapter.
