4/30/2025 9:59:00 PM

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — The 2024–2025 Prairie View A&M University Annual All-Sports Banquet was held Tuesday evening in the Willie A. Tempton Memorial Student Center (MSC) Ballroom. Student-athletes, coaches, staff, and supporters came together to celebrate a year of excellence, determination, and Panther pride.

The event marked the conclusion of another competitive season, recognizing PVAMU student-athletes for their achievements on the field and in the classroom.

A major highlight of the banquet was the presentation of the President's Awards, given to the senior male and female student-athletes with the highest cumulative GPA. These awards were presented by PVAMU President Dr. Tomikia P. LeGrande and Athletic Director Anton Goff. This year's honorees were Keeara Bradley (Soccer), a Criminal Justice major, and David Murray (Football), a Mechanical Engineering major—both achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The I.T. Hunter Awards, recognizing the most outstanding male and female athletes of the year, were awarded to Jayda Gordon (Bowling) and Ahmar Donatto (Baseball) for their exceptional athletic contributions throughout the season.

The C.A. Thomas Spirit Team Award was presented to the Baseball team for their outstanding sportsmanship and team unity.

The G.E. Higgs Leadership Awards recognized student-athletes who have shown exemplary leadership on and off the field. This year's recipients were Sanai Kintchen (Women's Track & Field), who also serves as SAAC President, and Jordan Williams (Baseball), who was also honored with the John Tankersley Leadership Award.
