In a heartwarming and proud tradition, Prairie View A&M University's Department of Athletics hosted its annual Stole Ceremony, recognizing and celebrating the academic and athletic achievements of 71 student-athletes and athletics support staff graduating in Spring and Summer 2025.

This spring, 63 dynamic individuals representing multiple athletic programs and support units crossed the stage to receive their commemorative stoles—a symbol of resilience, commitment, and the pride of Panther Nation. From early morning practices to late-night study sessions, these students embodied excellence both on and off the field.

Baseball led the celebration with seven graduates: Marshal Jonas, Trenton Bush, Lee Allen, Jr., Camden Farmer, Brayden Johnson, Danny McKay, and Jayden Williams. Each brought not only their skill to the diamond but also character and leadership to the team.

Men's Track and Field was proudly represented by seven remarkable athletes: Jaden Harris, Dorian Holland, Nathan Crawford-Wallis, Camdyn Parsee, Isaiah Barnes, Javier Gallegos III, and Kaiden Berry—each a testament to speed, endurance, and academic success.

The football program saw its largest group of graduates this spring with 16 Panthers receiving their stoles: Kevin Tyler, Cameron Franklin, Guillermo Garcia-Rodriguez, Warren Shankle, Freddie Byrd, Coby Cavil, Efren Jasso, Keon Jones, Angel Lopez, Mekhi Mercer, Travis Pearson, Cameron Peters, Shemar Savage, Trejon Spiller, Steven Thomas, and Deondre Adams. Each one has worn the jersey with pride and now steps boldly into the future.

Men's Golf proudly celebrated Jaden Thompson, while Women's Track honored six exceptional athletes: Savoria Anderson, Morgan Davila, Kamara Bradley, Jasir Miller, Jordyn Hubbert, and Zara Richardson.

The softball team recognized three standouts—Hailey Elizarraras, Hannah Garza, and Aerin Talley—whose tenacity both on the field and in the classroom made lasting impressions.

Soccer celebrated Medinat Lawal, Nia Wilson, and Kamara Bradley for their contributions to the team's competitive spirit and camaraderie.

From the court to the lanes, Aliyah Levert represented volleyball, and Amani Moore stood proudly as a graduate of the women's bowling team. Cierra Garcia, a model of focus and finesse, represented women's tennis.

The celebration also honored those who support the Panthers behind the scenes. Cheerleaders Asia Smith and Courtnee Williams, and Panther Doll Eniyah Watson, brought undeniable energy and spirit to every game day and event. From men's basketball, the ceremony spotlighted Jonathan Nash for his on-court leadership.

Three dedicated equipment managers—Jaliaya Molett, Averoney Felton, and Jerrion Watson—were recognized for their tireless behind-the-scenes contributions that keep every game running smoothly.

From the world of media and communications, four graduates were honored from Sports Information: Taliyah Galindo, Rico Fresch, Jaiden Vaughn, and Kenuih Russell. Their work ensured Panther Athletics stayed in the spotlight.

Also recognized were five vital members of the Football Media Team: Kolade Schofoluwe, Bailee Anderson, Destiny Lewis, Destiny Kennedy, and Diondra Lockett, whose creativity and storytelling amplified the spirit of the game to fans far and wide.

Looking ahead to Summer 2025, eight additional graduates will don their stoles, continuing the legacy of excellence. From football: Jabez Oliphant, Trevor Jaks, Amaeze Nwaemo, and Darren Vasquez. The softball team will graduate three more: Calin Massey, Maya Hall, and Janiaya Thomas. From the Sports Information Media Team, Tyrez Montague will also join the ranks of proud alumni.

As each name was called and stoles were draped over shoulders, the room filled with cheers, hugs, and the unmistakable pride of a Panther family united in celebration. This milestone moment marked not just the end of a chapter, but the beginning of countless stories shaped by determination, teamwork, and the unbreakable bond of Prairie View A&M University.

Congratulations to all 2025 graduates—once a Panther, always a Panther!
