Journei Hart - Duncanville, TX
Position: Attacking/Defensive Mid
A Nursing major from Duncanville High School and Sting Soccer RL, Journei was part of the Continental National Selection Game and holds multiple academic honors including National Honor Society. She earned All-State Region 2 All-Academic and 2nd Team District recognition. Journei is focused on perfecting her midfield skills and becoming a vital contributor for Prairie View.
Nenah Jackson - St. Louis, MO
Position: Goalkeeper
Nenah is a goalkeeper from Liberty High School and Sting Black ECRL and was also part of the Continential National Selection Game. She aims to become Goalkeeper of the Year and record at least seven shutout games. Known for her strong shot-stopping and leadership, Nenah is poised to make an immediate impact in goal.
Kaarie Hutchinson - Mansfield, TX
Position: Outside Back
Marketing major Kaarie is a defender/midfielder from Mansfield Lake Ridge and Sting ECNL. She was First Team All Region and Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman at the college level and helped her team reach the NJCAA National Tournament runner-up finish. Kaarie aims to enhance her athleticism and tactical understanding to lead the defense and help the team win the conference.
Destini Twiggs - San Jose, CA
Position: Forward
A Communications major from Pioneer High School and De Anza Force ECNL, Destini was named Sophomore of the Year and was part of a CCS championship team. She committed to Prairie View for its strong soccer program and coaching staff, with a goal of helping the Panthers capture the SWAC championship.
Ashanti Hall - Dallas, TX
Position: Forward
A Science/Biology major, Ashanti is a dynamic forward from W.T. White High School and played for Darmouth GA. She finished her senior year with 26 district goals and earned multiple honors including 4x Offensive MVP and TASCO Academic All-State. Ashanti strives to sharpen her technical skills and shooting form to pursue a professional soccer career.
Amelia Olowu - Houston, TX
Position: Forward
Kinesiology major Amelia is a forward from Elkins High School who scored 48 goals over three seasons. She also played for HTX GA, where she also won a national championship. She was First Team All District as a sophomore, Offensive MVP, and Golden Boot recipient twice. Amelia aims to be a versatile attacker impacting the game from multiple positions.
Baleigh Williams - Lake Charles, LA
Position: Forward
Baileigh plays forward/wing/right back and hails from Conroe High School, CSC Eagles, and TPG GA. She earned multiple district honors including Offensive MVP and first-team selections. Baileigh chose Prairie View for its culture, coaching, and academics and looks to improve in every aspect of her game.
Jayln Dennis - Suwanee, GA
Position: Centerback/Outside Back
A Human Nutrition major and defender from Lambert High School and Concorde Fire ECNL, Jaylyn plays centerback and outside back. She values Prairie View's family atmosphere and accessible major. Her goal is to be a reliable defensive presence and contribute to team success.
Mariah Loera-Urbina - Arlington, TX

Mariah is a goalkeeper from Arlington High School and DKSF 07G ECNL-RL. Her accolades include

Destiny Barragan - Los Angeles, CA
Position: Defender
A defender from Sierra Canyon School and Los Angeles Surf GA, Destiny was a 4-year varsity starter and DPL All-Star. She earned multiple defensive honors and aims to help Prairie View win the SWAC conference by making a difference on the field.

Amaiah Brown - Mansfield, TX
Position: Centerback
Criminal Justice major Amaiah comes from Dallas College Brookhaven, where she earned First Team All Region and Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman. She was part of the NJCAA National Tournament runner-up team and chose Prairie View for its supportive environment and HBCU atmosphere. Her goal is to keep improving physically and tactically to help the Panthers win the conference tournament.
Ella Copenhaver - Prosper, TX
Position: Goalkeeper
A standout goalkeeper from Seminole State College, Ella led the NJCAA in save percentage (.947 in 2023, .933 in 2024) and goals-against average (.11 in 2023, .19 in 2024). She earned TASCO Academic All-State honors and helped her team win district and regional championships. Ella is focused on continuing elite performance to anchor Prairie View's defense.
Chloe Wiggins - Beverly Hills, MI
Position: Defender
Chloe, an Architecture major, transferred from University of Detroit Mercy where she earned All-District honors as a defender. At 5'10", she brings strong physical presence and leadership to the backline and is focused on anchoring Prairie View's defense.
Niasia Goodwin - Schertz, TX
Position: Forward
A midfielder from Sam Houston, Nenasia earned multiple all-conference honors for her technical ability and vision. She is expected to be a creative force in the midfield and a key playmaker for the Panthers.
Makayla Police - Gladewater, TX
Position: Forward/Winger
A social work major from Blinn College, Makayla is a forward and multi-sport athlete with all-district and all-conference honors in soccer and basketball. She received the KYKX Female Student Athlete of the Year scholarship and brings leadership and scoring ability to the team.

The 2025 Prairie View A&M University women's soccer season officially begins on August 17th at the PVAMU Soccer Complex versus the University of North Dakota. This incoming class of freshmen and transfers is ready to elevate Panther Soccer to new levels of success.
